In a recent interview with Impire Magazine, Colin Trevorrow, director of Jurassic World: Dominion 2022, said that the giant predatory dinosaur Giganotosaurus first introduced in the Jurassic series will serve as the " villain boss", like "The Joker" in the DC Cinematic Universe.

T-Rex Rexy to come back in Jurassic World 3 and complete her tragic journey

Jurassic World series director Colin Trevorrow said that the 2022 film will feature the coming back of Tyrannosaurus Rex (often referred to by fans as Rexy or Roberta, based on the name given in the novel) which would complete her journey in the series dating back to 1993.

Jurassic World: Dominion Imax Preview – T-Rex was killed by Giganotosaurus

Jurassic World 3 will be released in June 2022; However, the movie fans will soon have the opportunity to enjoy a 5-minute preview at IMAX theaters, in front of Fast & Furious 9 – F9. The preview is set in the late Cretaceous when a Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) fights against a Giganotosaurus and dies.

Tyrannosaurus Rex may have been the "tyrant lizard king" but before the T-Rex became titanic and ferocious to dominate what is now North America, their ancestors weren't really of the elite race: they were small, gangly, agile, adapted to a crouching lifestyle under the shadow of much larger carnivores.
