It is the sequel to The Matrix Revolutions (2003) and the fourth installment in the The Matrix film series. Keanu Reeves (as Neo), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity), Lambert Wilson (The Merovingian) and Jada Pinkett Smith (Captain Niobe) will reprise their roles from the previous seasons, while some of the previous characters will played by new cast.
