The King 2019 | Timothee Chalamet - Robert Pattinson from Theater to Cinema

With a rating of 7.4/10 on IMBb, "The King" starring Timothee Chalamet can be considered a good movie, but maybe not an excellent one. To some certain extent, the film successfully transforms Shakespear's drama into a cleverly-crafted cinematic work, making the viewers relating it to the epic Game of Thrones.

In a lengthy duration of nearly 2.5 hours, there are scenes proved to be sluggish, slow in motions, non-dramatic and lack of neccessary twists. Meanwhile, the perfection and elaboration in the main cast's costumes, backgrounds, characters, storylines and acting ... should have made the film, on a whole, something worth a watching.

Another strong point of the film is, of course, the presence of talented Timothee Chalamet and Robert Pattinson, and it is their acting that forge the soul of this hypothetical (or possibly historical) movie.

Game of Thrones is over with all the most promising candidates for the throne dead, the last dragon flying away, and the Iron Throne melt down ... People are looking forward (maybe backward) to its prequel – the most likely title of #Boodmoon so far.

“The Long Night” has been named for an episode in Game of Thrones Final Season, so it’s unlikely to be used again for the Prequel.

“None of the characters or actors from Game of Thrones will appear in the new show,” Martin wrote in a blog post, adding that this pilot “really puts the PRE in prequel, since it is set not ninety years before Game of Thrones ... or a few hundred years, but rather ten thousand years.”

But there is one exception: the Night King who nearly put an end to the existence of human in Winterfell. The Night King lived for thousands of years before he and his Army of the Dead appeared on Game of Thrones.  Indeed, he was the first White Walker in existence. Martin has confirmed in July 2019 that the White Walkers will definitely reappear, it seems likely that the Night King will make an appearance along with them.

The Night King and the other White Walkers were meant to defend the Children of the Forest from the rest of the First Men, who were invading Westeros at that time. Maybe, it was because of that purpose, the Night King brought Westeros into the Long Night in the #Bloodmoon era, and thousands years later he did it again in Winterfell.

Jo nhìn thấy một gã trai trẻ to lớn tóc hung sắp tiến về chỗ mình, lo sợ anh ta sẽ bắt chuyện làm quen, cô bèn lẩn vào chỗ giải lao khuất sau một tấm màn, tránh mọi cuộc trò chuyện cho yên thân.

Thật không may, có một kẻ nhút nhát nào đó cũng chọn tấm màn làm nơi lẩn trốn, do vậy, khi tấm màn vừa khuất sau lưng cô lập tức chạm mặt với với một người theo cô nhớ là gã trai nhà Laurence.

"Ôi trời, Tôi không biết là có người ở đây!" Jo nói đầy ngập ngừng, rồi tính quay ra ngay, vội như lúc lẩn vô.

Tuy nhiên, gã trai bật cười và nói đầy dễ chịu, tuy là cậu ta có vẻ hơi bất ngờ  “Đừng bận tâm, nếu muốn cô cứ đứng đây”.

"Tôi không phiền cậu chứ?"

"Không  hề.  Tôi cũng chỉ mới đến đây, tôi không quen nhiều người nên ban đầu cũng thấy lạ lẫm, cô biết đấy."

"Tôi cũng thế.  Cậu đừng đi nhé, xin đấy, trừ phi cậu phải đi."

Gã trai lại ngồi xuống và cúi nhìn chăm chăm vào mũi giày, cho đến khi Jo  cất lời đầy nhã nhặn và thoải mái “Tôi từng có dịp được gặp cậu trước đây. Cậu sống gần chúng tôi đúng không?”

"Ngay sát bên." Và gã trai ngước lên, cười rõ tươi khi cậu  nhớ lại phong cách hơi buồn cười của Jo khi họ trò chuyện về môn bóng chày cái lần cậu mang chú mèo qua nhà.

Cử chỉ của cậu khiến Jo thoải mái, cũng bật cười và nói đầy chân thành “Món quà Giáng sinh dễ thương của cậu khiến gia đình tôi vui lắm".

"Ông tôi gửi đấy."

"Nhưng chính cậu bắt ông cậu gửi phải không?"

"Chú mèo của cô sao rồi, Cô March?" gã trai hỏi, cố tỏ ra vẻ điềm tĩnh trong khi đôi mắt đen ánh lên niềm hân hoan.

"Nó dễ thương lắm, cảm ơn nhiều, Cậu Laurence. Nhưng tôi không phải là Cô March gì đâu, tôi chỉ là Jo thôi."  cô gái trẻ trả lời.

"Tôi không phải là cậu Laurence gì, tôi chỉ là Laurie thôi."

"Thế là Laurie Laurence hả, cái tên thật kỳ."

"Tên đầu của tôi là Theodore, nhưng tôi chả thích nó, còn lũ bạn gọi tôi là Dora, thế nên tôi bắt mọi người gọi tôi là Laurie."

"Tôi cũng ghét cái tên của tôi, nghe nó ủy mị quá. Tôi ước gì mọi người gọi tôi là Jo thay vì Josephine. Thế làm sao cậu bắt bọn bạn thôi gọi cậu là Dora?"

"Tôi cầm roi quất tụi nó"

"Tôi thì không thể quất dì March của tôi được, thế nên có lẽ tôi phải chịu đựng cái tên này." Jo khựng lại với tiếng thở dài.

"Cô có thích nhảy không cô Jo?" Laurie hỏi, tỏ vẻ đồng tình là cái tên Jo hợp hơn.

"Tôi rất thích nếu căn phòng đủ rộng và mọi người hào hứng. Chứ trong cái chỗ như thế này kiểu gì tôi cũng phá hỏng chuyện gì đó, như là giẫm lên chân ai đó hoặc là gây ra thứ gì đó khôi hài. Tôi cố tránh làm kẻ phá bĩnh nên tôi để chị Meg lèo lái mọi việc. Thế cậu không khiêu vũ ah?”.

"Đôi khi. Tôi ở nước ngoài nhiều năm, tôi cũng không khiêu vũ đôi nhiều lắm nên cũng không biết mọi người ở đây nhảy ra sao."

"Nước ngoài hả!." Jo như kiểu hét lên. "Oh, kể cho tôi nghe đi! Tôi rất thích nghe mọi người kể về các chuyến du lịch, thích chết đi được.”

Miss World Vietnam Tran Tieu Vy steals the show at Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival 2019

Tran Tieu Vy – Miss Vietnam 2018 along with some beauty queens including Ngoc Han, Truong Thi May, Tran Huyen My were on the carnival jeeps, waving to thousands of local people in the annual coffee festival of central highland city Buon Ma Thuot 2019. The locality is famous for its vast forests of high quality and unique coffee.

During festival, many carnival street-style events, coffee-related contests, exhibitions of the coffee industry was introduced to the local people and visitors. Nearly 40 café shops locally also offer this kind of drink for free to visitors during the festival time.

Miss Universe Vietnam H'hen Niê who is of the local ethnic was on the spotlight as the communication ambassador for the festival.

Aquaman had to fly and his plane made an emergency landing

Aquaman star Jason Momoa could breathe, dive, swim, surf, fight, love … under the water deep deep under; but to fly over the sky he still needs a plane.

His private plane is a Cessna Citation 560 XL jet and on his way from Los Angeles to Phoenix the plane made an emergency landing at Palm Springs International Airport after the pilot reported an engine fire.

Of course Aquaman had to leave the plane for the inspection, after that the Palm Springs Aircraft Rescue and Firefighter team determined it was a false alarm.

He got on the plane and continuing his flight, without forgetting saying thanks for the Firefighters for their service.

Although the historical meeting between Donald Trump and  Kim Jong Un did not bring about dramatic outcomes as expected, cuisine lovers all around the world still have one thing to concern about: what are the courses the host country Vietnam prepares to serve the US President.

A luncheon was hosted on 27^th Feb at Vietnam's White House (the new government building) where Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Ministers formally receive guests. After a brief discussion with Prime Minister Phuc, Donald Trump enjoyed a lunch consisting of following courses:

Course 1: Fresh shredded green mango  salad with scallops, mint leaves, and cashew nuts served in a sweet vinaigrette dressing.

Course 2: Deep fried Hanoi-style spring rolls, with shrimp, pork, vermicelli, and vegetables, served with a side of sweet, sour fish sauce and red chilies

Course 3: King crab meat  and spinach in a light (and usually clear) seafood-based broth.

Course 4: Main entrée

     · Grilled cod fish (CHA CA) a pan-fried white fish with turmeric and dill, served with various herbs and vermicelli noodle.

      · Roasted Wagyu beef medallions with foige grass, and a semi-sweet fermented black rice (The fermented black rice may have an alcoholic essence due to the fermentation, similar to Japanese sake).

<   · Sautéed "Su Su" vegetables with garlic.  Su Su refer to green chayote stems and leaves which are crisp with a mild, fresh and grassy flavor with mellow undertones of cucumber.

      · Steamed sticky glutinous rice with shrimp wrapped in a lotus leaf.

Course 5:  Dessert A traditional Vietnamese dessert consisting of lotus seeds, longans, and white wood-ear mushrooms, served warm in a sugary syrup (Lotus seeds are also known as lotus nuts. Longans are a South East Asia similar to lychees.

Sounds luxurious? It's not. Actually you can find most of the above food easily in popular restaurants or cafes at affordable price.
