Shadow and Bone is an American magics fantasy developed by Eric Heisserer. It is based on the Grisha trilogy (The first volume is Shadow and Bone), and the Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, depicting the Grishaverse characterized by magical powers.

The characters of the “Shadow and Bone” live in a continent ravaged by wars, in which orphaned girl Alina Starkov is discovered to have an extraordinary power of a Light Summoner. This power may be the key to bringing her Ravka country out of the darkness: to break down the Dark Fold (or the Unsea) that separates the country into the East and the West and that is inhabited by carnivorous winged creatures named Volcra.
In order to improve her skills and powers towards eliminating the Shadow Fold, Alina is recruited and trained to become part of an elite witches known as Grisha, based in the Little Palace in the East of Ravka, led by General Kirigan.
Along the way, she finds that allies and enemies can be the same ones and the dark truth is gradually revealed so that she understand how and for what she should do with her gifted power.
She also finds her path crossed with a group to be named the Six of Crows, each of them with unique talent, who have turned themselves from her enemies into her allies.
