Long-spreading rumor that the former Superman star was cast as Wolverine turns out to be true when Deadpool & Wolverine is premiered. However, Henry appears in just a few seconds as a Wolverine variant.

In the movie, Deadpool uses a TemPad to travel Multiverses to find a suitable Logan to install in his deteriorating earth, and Henry’s Wolverine is one of his encounters.

Henry’s Wolverine is a moto-loving, cigar-chomping muscular. This variant seems to hate the garrulous Deadpool so much that he punches the talking guy flying into another universe (of course, not in a direct route but thanks to crossing through the TemPad).

That’s all. So far it’s not clear whether Henry Cavill would play any leading role in a Marvel movie, but if there is first step, then further steps can be expected.
