In Episode 14/15 of Superman & Lois Season 2 - "Worlds War Bizarre", as the worlds begin to merge, the sky of the Prime Earth turns red and the cube sun of the Inverse World appears in replace. Objects start flashing, signal the merging process, but essentially it's the replacement by the Inverse World.

According to calculations, there are only 12 hours left for the merging process to be complete - first objects, then people. Merge of humans meant their current selves would die.
John takes the super-powerless Clark to the Fort of Solitude to meet Lara's spirit. She observes and explains that it can take time for Clark's cells to heal then his super strength to return, a process that can take up to four years.
John flies into space between the two worlds to fight Ally, but is easily defeated, unconscious and free-floating through space, losing contact with Natalie.
Lana-Rho and Jon-El attack Smallville High School, easily overpowering the now powerless Superman. Jordan resists them but is overwhelmed, before Natalie appears to help with the kinetic hammer.
