Superman Star To Reprise His Role in MTV's Teen Wolf Movie 2022

Teen Wolf 2022 is a feature film that follows the events of the television series Teen Wolf (2011-2017) previously shown on MTV. Several actors from the TV series are expected to return to their film roles, including Tyler Hoechlin, now known for playing middle-aged Clark Kent in The CW's Superman & Lois series.

Teen Wolf 2022, produced by MTV Entertainment, is scheduled to be broadcast on the Paramount Plus streaming platform owned by ViacomCBS.

The film will continue the adventures of Scott McCall's Pack in Beacon Hills when new threats emerge. The summary for the film reads:

❝ ... A terrifying evil has emerged in the town of Beacon Hills. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a Werewolf like Scott McCall, no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they've ever faced.❞

Teen Wolf filming has officially begun at Teen Wolf HQ (Capital Arts Stages and Standing Sets) in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, the existing Beacon Hills studio, and various locations in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Derek Hale, Ian Bohen as Peter Hale, and Tyler Posey as Scott McCall. Coincidentally, both Tyler Hoechlin and Ian Bohen are currently on the show "Superman & Lois".

The film's success will be judged by its performance in attracting new users on Paramount+. If positive, MTV Entertainment will consider making sequels to set up a werewolf universe.
