Escaping from Leah's artillery fire from the top floor, Meggie's group manage to ambush and eliminate many members of the Reaper one after another, and take Deaver hostage.

Downstairs, Daryl wants to use Deaver to negotiate with Leah about the mutual compromise to Meggie's group to withdraw in safe, but Leah uses a sniper in the ceiling and wants kill all of her enemies.

The situation only reverses when Gabriel shows up unexpectedly.

Realizing that Meggie is in a state of hatred and instability, Negan decides to leave because he believes that Meggie would not keep her promise of "peace" between them and would take revenge on him at any time.

Meggie's small group of survivors and their supplies vehicle return to the Alexandria safe-zone when the storm has already passed and all the residents survive. Just minutes later, Commonwealth soldiers and diplomat also show up, offering to help.

It seems that after that, Maggie and some of Alexandria people choose to stay in zone; while Daryl and a few others join the Commonwealth. However, there are complex and mysterious problems that await them ahead.
