Tyler Lee Hoechlin
Tyler Hoechlin is an American born in 1987 known for his playing Derek Hale in Teen Wolf. Derek Hale is a born werewolf who lives in the Beacon Hills with a family of werewolves and normal humans, and his mother is an Alpha werewolf. Due to his and his family's tragic experiences, Derek became an angry, moody, misguided, cynical, defensive and suspicious person.
After Teen Wolf, Tyler Hoechlin continued his acting path as Superman in the television series of the Arrowverse including Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow. Most recently, despite his still youthful age, he is playing the middle-aged Clark Kent in Superman and Lois series, who is the father of two teenage sons (and soon to welcome daughter-in-laws).
Actually, Hoechlin's original career goal was baseball. He started playing baseball at the age of 7 until high school. He later won a scholarship to Arizona State University and played for the college, and the team made it to the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska.
Because of his preference for baseball, he turned down many auditions and casting, most notably for the role of Emmett Cullen in the Twilight series. However, during Hoechlin's senior year of college, he suffered a hamstring strain, limiting his ability to compete and train. As a result, Hoechlin decided to pursue acting full-time.
Tyler Garcia-Posey
American Tyler Posey born in 1991 played Scott McCall in Teen Wolf. The character Scott McCall is a werewolf due to being bitten and transformed, however he is a True Alpha werewolf – meaning he doesn't kill other Alpha werewolves to become an Alpha werewolf. Scott is optimistic, kind, protective and caring for others, has strong morals and ideals, and is the real leader of his Pack.
After Teen Wolf, Tyler Posey also participated in a number of movie projects, but it seems that things were not as lucky as before and he has not had any breakthrough role since.
In addition to acting, Tyler Posey has been also quite active in the music industry. He joined and played guitar in the band Disappashing Jamie, formerly known as Lost in Kostko; followed by pop punk band PVMNTS with guitarist/bassist/vocalist Freddy Ramirez and drummer Nick Guzman. The trio released the song "Standing (On My Own Two Feet)" in 2018.
In April 2019, Posey left the band and pursued another musical project. He and his 4 childhood friends formed a pop-punk rock band named Five North.
Five North's debut single "This Mess" was released in late 2019 and the eight-track EP Scumbag was released in early 2020, through Big Noise Music Group.
Posey has come out as being gay recently but not revealed his boyfriend yet.
