Superman & Lois Episode 14: Miss the father, target the son 🎥

In Episode 14 of Superman and Lois - "The Eradicator", after flying close to the sun to absorb its energy for several weeks, Morgan Edge completes the transformation of his body into a living Eradicator and returns to Earth to begin his plan of conquest.

During those few weeks, Smallville experienced turmoil and upheaval. The Department of Defense's continued occupation of Smallville because of concerns about the possibility of Morgan's return caused the locals to strongly protest against it. The local residents also suffered from economic struggles, mutual mistrust and uncertainty about the future.

Facing the boycott of SmallVille, Kyle and his wife decide to put up a sign to sell their house, and at the same time look for job in another city. They plan to leave Smallville as soon as possible.

Chrissy Beppo, owner of the SmallVille Gazette, also plans to sell the newspaper to a corporation because she doesn't have enough revenue to keep it running and soon be "out of water".

Morgan Edge attacks the Department of Defense's prison to free Leslie, while also beaming lasers to transform some ordinary people into the host of Krypton's spirits. They chose Metropolis as the attack site, prompting Superman and John Irons to go there against it.

In a fortuitous turn of events, Lois reappears on live television at the scene to warn the public of what is going on. Leslie prompts the laser eye to kill Lois, but John Irons uses his Static Hammer to stop it just in time.

It seems that the attack on Metropolis was just a diversion scheme for Morgan to capture Jordan and transform the boy into a Krytonian being his father, Zeta Rho.
