The Witcher - Henry Cavill - Season 1 Episode 3 - Betrayer Moon

In Episode 3, Betrayer Moon, Geralt lifts the curse on a striga in a deadly fight, and Yennefer makes a perfect change in appearance.

In Temeria, the out-of-money Geralt  is convinced by spirited sorceress Triss to save a monster born by Adda  - the sister of King Foltest.  Through many researches and investigations, Geralt finds out that such monster is actually a striga—a woman transformed into a monster by a curse, as a result of King Foltest impregnating his sister.

That striga is so powerful and fierce that so far no body can defeat it, and it also killed an unknown witcher. To lift the curse and save the striga, Geralt has a horrible fight with the creature in a full moon night and is overpowered in many hits. Finally, he can manage to climb into its mother Adda’s tomb and closes the lid, preventing the striga from entering into until the dawn.  The next morning, the striga has turned into a female human, but the instincts make her attack Geralt badly-wounded and unconsciously.

It's graduation day in Aretuza .  The Brotherhood of Sorcerers meet to discuss which kingdoms the new recruits will be sent to, as royal advisors.  Tissaia wants to send Yennefer to her hometown Aedirn (and Yen wants it also), but Stregobor reveals her elven lineage  which rules her out. Yen later comes  to know that it was Istredd  who revealed her secret, their relation breaks up.

Yennefer comes to  confront a sorcerer, challenging him to make her beautiful.  He gets it done, turning her into a stunning Yen, at the price of removing her womb - she'll never be able to have children.  In a new perfect appearance, she approaches King Virfuril of Aedirn at the dance, in such a charming way that he declares to choose her as his mage, instead of another mage previously selected.
