Aquaman has been confirmed to be in love with … a man.

In the latest episode of comic series Young Justice: Outsiders, Kaldur-ahm – formerly known as Aqualad and later served as Aquaman – was confirmed to be in a relationship with an Atlantean man named Wynnde. In the episode titled Quiet Conversations, the two young men reunited and exchanged a kiss whilst holding hands, revealing their romance.

Will this sexual orientation of  the King of Atlantis be further described and explored in the sequel of Aquaman film?
